Answer account and error code questions for a large web portal with an agent

LY Corporation, the Japanese company behind Yahoo! JAPAN, gets 3.3 million support inquiries a year and has 700 reps. Its earlier chatbot gave one fixed answer per question. Starting in March 2026 it put an Agentforce agent on the help pages for Yahoo! JAPAN ID and LYP Premium. The agent reads each message, pulls the matching knowledge article and live order and payment data from an internal hub, and replies with a specific answer rather than a link. Anything out of scope becomes a case with the full chat attached for a rep. The company says the agent already answers 25,000 inquiries a month, expects 80% first touch resolution and estimates about $740,000 in yearly savings.
