Keep competitor battle cards current with a weekly scheduled agent scan
Sequel tracks 19 competitors, including Cvent and Zoom, and sales kept asking for battle cards no one had time to write. Kathleen Booth set up a weekly job that scans each rival's product blog, press releases and news coverage, posts the week's findings to Slack with links, and updates one markdown file per competitor. A Claude Code skill builds the cards as Google Slides decks and another pushes each week's relevant changes into them, running on scheduled GitHub Actions. The same files feed a Claude project reps can ask during live calls. It began as a Manus task that emailed her a PDF. Sequel now has cards for all 19 rivals that mostly update themselves.
