Clear a backlog of life-admin chores through a Telegram agent

Over two weeks, one person used a Hermes agent, mostly via Telegram, as a personal assistant for the dull tasks they tend to put off. It read their email and worked on websites to check them into an ANA flight and add a bag, set up flight alerts, produce a cleaner boarding pass, chase a student-loan refund of around GBP 2,000, contest an e-scooter parking warning, dig up proof of a delivery, unsubscribe from spam, and file an eyeglass prescription into Paperless. It was not flawless: it picked a poor weather source, suggested a bad cycling route, forgot a vegan meal request, and sometimes misread instructions. A commenter estimated API costs at around USD 5 per task.
