Port a large codebase to another language with a verified agent swarm

Prime Intellect had its own coding agent, Prime Agent, rewrite itself from TypeScript into Rust over two weeks, using more than 2,000 sub-agents. People spent their time on tests, not code. They built checks that run the old and new apps side by side and compare the screens, the session logs, the model requests, and the protocol messages. One root agent split the work into ordered tasks and wrote no code itself. Each task went through a planner, a coder working in a separate worktree, a critic running on another model, and a verifier in a clean sandbox. A later three-day tuning loop made the app about 14 times faster to accept input and cut memory use after startup by over 80 percent.
