Turn your AI newsletters into a daily podcast episode before breakfast

Bronson Elliott subscribed to over 30 AI newsletters and felt buried by repeats. Tinkering in Claude Cowork on a Mac Mini, he built a task that runs at 5 AM. It pulls labeled newsletters from Gmail, skips about 18 that are mostly promo, reads the rest and writes a synthesis of the three or four real stories. A local Qwen3-TTS voice model turns that into an 8 to 10 minute MP3, then published to a GitHub Pages podcast feed that his phone subscribes to. The macOS voice was unlistenable and a Microsoft option needed the network, so local was the pick. Install took about 30 minutes. Running costs are the Mac and his existing plan.
