Pair a scraping script with Claude to run a weekly contracting job

A Reddit user in r/ClaudeAI described automating a contracting job that involved pulling information from websites. Rather than letting Claude browse and scrape, they had it write a Python script for the extraction, since that used almost no tokens and ran faster. Claude then sits around the script as the coordinator: the user tells it to begin, it runs the steps and hands back finished work, while the user contributes know how on which sources matter and hands in the output. They say this now covers what used to be a 40 hour a week job, with their own time down to about ten minutes and the model part costing around 15 cents. No accuracy figures were given.
