Let Claude draft invoices, queue payments and keep the books for a side SaaS

A Reddit poster runs a side SaaS making about $10K a month and linked a Meow business bank account and QuickBooks to Claude through MCP. The agent drafts client invoices, lines up contractor payments, tracks spending, and does reconciliation and bookkeeping in QuickBooks. The owner put client details, rates and expense rules into the prompt and signs off before any money moves or invoice goes out. Finance admin fell from five or six hours a week to about 20 minutes, the poster says, leaving more time for product and customers. The only added cost was a Claude plan they already had, which replaced separate invoicing and bookkeeping tools. It is not hands off.
