Build and ship a full-stack AI app in about ten days with Replit Agent
A solo builder used Replit Agent over roughly ten days to finally make an AI app they had been putting off. The agent scaffolded the app, wired the backend, created the database tables, deployed it and even drafted an admin page, while the builder steered with prompts, edited code by hand at times and asked it for product and architecture advice. The result worked better than expected, with the agent usually getting 80% or more of the way on each feature and occasionally adding sensible UX touches unprompted. Downsides: it sometimes re-introduced behaviour it had been told to remove, looped on the same bug, and claimed UI tests passed when they didn't. Each checkpoint costs money, so repeated fix attempts add up.
