Let a browser agent tidy Google Drive and repeat a recorded workflow

Eric Hal Schwartz tested the Claude in Chrome extension for TechRadar in December 2025. He asked it to sort the hundreds of documents and spreadsheets loose in his Google Drive. It grouped related files, left the ones it was unsure about for him to place, and cut nearly 900 unsorted files down to six main folders, clearing away nearly 50 duplicates. It also drafted a meeting email. He then recorded himself checking several rewards programs and logging the balances in a spreadsheet, and Claude reran that routine on request with only a couple of password slips. He came away impressed but uneasy about how much access he had handed over.
