Run an always-on 'life ops' agent for your home server and errands
A home-server fan ran an agent on a Mac mini for months to handle chores across their digital life. It looked after an Unraid media server and Home Assistant, grabbed downloads, watched for concert dates, planned trips, and helped with fundraising, family-tree research, and news feeds. They talked to it in a private Discord and got urgent alerts on Telegram. It worked down a ranked list of projects on its own and only flagged real decisions for them. The trouble was its to-do lists. Tasks went missing, done tasks came back, and some were marked done when they weren't. The fix was one master list, plus an outside check before any task could count as done.
