Use an AI browser to find interview sources on LinkedIn and draft outreach

Tech journalist Joanna Stern wrote that the Comet AI browser now does most of what her reporting assistant did for her book on AI. In one task she asked it to find LinkedIn posts from people who said they lost customer service jobs to AI, and to draft a note to each. It returned matches with drafts in under a minute. She edited every message and approved it before anything went out. In another, it found likely email addresses for a source, wrote an intro and sent it through Gmail. ChatGPT Agent Mode found similar people, but its separate virtual browser was not signed in to her accounts, which held it back. She also raises privacy concerns about letting a browser act for her.
