Find, validate and enrich event listings with agents to grow an SEO directory
Chris Tam launched CardShows.io, a directory of trading card shows, in mid March 2026 and uses agents to keep it stocked. The listing agent first ran on OpenClaw on a Raspberry Pi 5 and now runs as Hermes Agent, working state by state each month to find events, validate and dedupe them and enrich the listings. Each week Codex reviews traffic through the Amplitude MCP and Google Search Console. The site has reached about 5,709 weekly clicks, 237,600 weekly impressions and 36,800 clicks in total, with roughly 9,100 pages indexed and event pages bringing 60 to 65% of organic traffic. The first enrichment pass cost $300 to $400 in Brave Search credits, and organisers now submit about five shows a week.
